How to use this new Google Map safety feature

Tech giant Google keeps on adding several new features to its navigation service, Google Maps. Recently, the company has added a new ‘Stay Safer’ feature to the Android version of the app. The feature warns people travelling through any public transport like taxis, auto-rickshaw or any other public transport deviates from the route. The functionality coexists alongside the already existing Live trip sharing feature.
